Apprentices Compete and Win at California Regionals Skills Challenge

?
Apprentices win unique one-of-a-kind Awards custom made by CalPortland!

California Regionals Apprentice Skills Challenge is where bricklayer/mason apprentices competed to win a privileged spot to go on and try for the best in the World of Concrete 2016 in Las Vegas! The Apprentice Skills Challenge held at RCP Block & Brick in Murrieta, was in conjunction with the Fastest Trowel on the Block, and the high schools Bob Freeman Most Accurate Trowel competition. Your dedicated and eager 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year apprentices were surrounded by a crowd, put to the 3 hour long timed test, and scored by a team of judges who are all seasoned masonry industry skills experts. Congratulations to these winners: 1st Year apprentice Fernando Gonzalez with NuWay Masonry, 2nd Year apprentice Christopher Dubief with R&R Masonry, 3rd Year apprentice Adrian Cardenas with New Dimension Masonry. Pack your tool bags! We look forward to seeing you on the World stage.
