MITA is hosting a summer masonry bootcamp for select high school students in the Riverside county area. These students will attend a four day a week camp from June 26th through July 20th. The camp will consist of lecture, hands-on demonstrations, a field trip and skills training.
MITA would like to thank NuWay for the donation of brick and hauling the materials to the site, Angelus Block for the Block, Thompsons Building Materials coordinated by TJ Huber with Omega for the stone veneer, and RCP Block and Brick for the supplies. We also want to thank the CFLC Teen Opportunity Center in Rubidoux for the donation of the facility for the bootcamp. We enjoy our partnership with CFLC who also work with us to coordinate Masonry Introduction classes in this location as well as Lake Elsinore annually. We are ready for the first day!
