Robert Green, the Career Technical Guru for the Jurupa Unified School District, wanted to do a project with the MITA lesson.  The idea was to help the agricultural class and garden at Nueva High School.  Under the leadership of MITA Instructor, April Ruiz, students came together to help build a border around an area of the garden.  The garden is truly a beautiful space, all made and maintained by the students and teacher Claude Umbarger.  The vegetables that are grown are used to make food for the students, and they also have a project making loofahs with soap.  Amazing class, school and faculty.  We were pleased to do a small part to make the garden beautiful.
