MITA continues to work with local high schools who offer a construction class as part of their CTE pathway programs.  In April we visited the class at Rancho Verde High School in Moreno Valley.  Under the direction of construction teacher Andrew Wahe, MITA facilitated six workshops with 170+ students.   This workshop, led by MITA Masonry Instructor April Ruiz, shows the students how to mix mortar and spread, and it also sets the stage for those that want to learn more to enroll for our Summer Bootcamp program.  If you are a teacher and would like us to visit your high school, email us at bonnie@trainmason.org.
