MITA partnered with the BAC 4 Local Bricklayer Union to allow all of our apprentices the opportunity to compete for three open slots in Las Vegas at the World of Concrete in January 2027.  19 apprentices accepted the challenge and showed up by 6:00 a.m. to register.  The competition started at 7:30 with 3 hours to complete their project.  Judges reviewed the project judging in presentation, safety, cleanliness, use of PPE, plumb, level and much more.  9 winners were announced, 1st, 2nd and 3rd for apprentices in Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 of their program.  Visit our event tab to view more photos and final results.
