Congratulations to Jane Frederick High School students in Stockton who competed in the Accurate Trowel competition held at the Fastest Trowel at Baselite Concrete Products in Dixon. Winning 1st place with the blue ribbon gold medal is Shawn Phang, 2nd place with the red ribbon silver medal is Francisco Dominguez. 3rd place with white ribbon bronze medal is Steven Juarez. Competitors included Joey Songthiamphone, Jose Villa, and Rudolph Hanes. Two student tenders-in-training joined in for the amazing experience. Instructor Tom Miller and coordinator Yvonne Miller are key to the success of masonry classes at Jane Frederick High School where these trainees are accomplishing pre-apprenticeship as a pathway to careers and to graduate job-ready.
