MITA resumed our masonry workshops in the community starting with a class with the San Bernardino Community College District (SBCCD) led by our Masonry Instructor April Ruiz.  Instructor Ruiz led the class by showing how to mix mortar, work with a trowel and spread.  Then they joined in and had a chance to lay a few block.  The SBCCD program is a series of construction classes through the San Bernardino County Probation Department. We hope to work with them in 2026 to lead more classes and add a masonry component to their program.
