Instructor Patrick Justus wanted to do some team building with his students/apprentices and decided on a potluck. The students were asked to all bring a food item with a contest that would highlight the best meal.  He donated a new trowel for the winner.  The food was amazing!!!  They brought pozole, pork stew, homemade cakes and cookies, ribs, tacos and even a fryer was brought in to cook catfish.  It was hard to pick a winner, but apprentice Josue Hernandez took home the trowel.  The class enjoyed the time to get to know one another and build the cohesiveness that is important to be successful not only in working with your classmates but on the job as well.
