MITA hosted an 8-hour Masonry Club at Rialto High School.  The presentation was on safety, masonry tools, and hands-on fun by mixing mortar and laying a few block!  The kids enjoyed the experience and had many questions about masonry and the trade.  We would love to do more of these type of presentations but need a number of skilled masons to volunteer to assist us.  The more masons we have in our speakers bureau, the more students we can reach.  The goal would be to have a list of masons and where they work, or live, and then when we are able to coordinate a presentation, or a demonstration, we can contact the mason closest to that school location.  If you have an interest in learning more about how you can help, call MITA at 951-903-3213, or email to bonnie@trainmason.org.
