Anthony Guerrero competes at his first NorCal Masonry Skills Challenge

Congratulations! MITA students won 4 of 6 spots for World of Concrete 2015 in Las Vegas!   At the Fastest Trowel competition hosted by Baselite Concrete Products in Dixon, the NorCal Masonry Skills Challenge winner of 1st Year Apprentice was Anthony Guerrero. He’s a former Jane Frederick High School masonry trainee with Instructor Tom Miller. Anthony graduated, started his bricklayer mason Apprenticeship, and is now working at John D. Wait Masonry in Lodi. Make your plans to go watch the competition as these Apprentices compete against the best from around the nation in Las Vegas at World of Concrete on February 4, 2015.

from the SoCal Masonry Skills Challenge hosted by RCP Block & Brick in San Diego. All winners were MITA students including 1st Year Apprentice Derrick Williams a third generation mason with Williams & Sons Masonry, 2nd Year Apprentice Adrian Cardenas with New Dimension Masonry, and 3rd Year Apprentice Miguel Gonzalez with NuWay Masonry Inc.
